NEW 2015 will feature more exhibitors than ever before
The NEW (National Electronics Week) exhibition, which is now in its eighth year, will be taking place from 21st to 22nd April at NEC, Birmingham. This venue features an extra 400m of floor space, allowing for more exhibitors than ever before.
The Component & Power area will feature exhibits from Wurth Electronics, TDK Lambda, Geyer Electronics and Ecopac. Here, the Electronics Component Supply Network will host a seminar programme which will consider wearable technology, lighting, the IoT and energy efficiency.
Rohde & Schwarz, Aspen Electronics, Keysight Technologies, National Instruments, JTAG and Teledyne Lecroy are among the company’s exhibiting in the Design & Test area. The PXI Show, which will showcase the four stages of the PXI process: modules, chassis and controllers, software and system integration, will be held in this area. Electronics World Magazine will also provide test and measurements masterclasses.
Alongside exhibitors, the Embedded & Software area will feature a full seminar programme from The Embedded Masterclass and Vehicle Electronics, with speakers from company's such as Freescale.
The Production & EMS area will feature exhibits from BAE Systems, Advanced Rework Technology, Europlacer, Etek-Europe and Pace Europe. Here, NPL and SMART GROUP will provide a printing and assembly automatic optical inspection experience. The Production & EMS area will also hold the N.E.W. Hand Soldering Competition, which will be open to all and feature a panel of IPC accredited trainers from Advanced Rework Technology and E-Tek Technical Services.
