Global economist Nenad Pacek will deliver a keynote speech at this year’s CWIEME Berlin exhibition, drawing on a wealth of experience to advise visitors in the coil winding, electric motor and transformer manufacturing industries how best to harness the potential of emerging and recovering markets.

Pacek is the Founder and President of Global Success Advisors and Co-Founder of the CEEMEA Business Group. In the keynote speech, titled Global Economy - A Snapshot for the Manufacturing World, Pacek will discuss a range of important topics, from the health of the Eurozone to isolationist trade policies and the changing state of play in emerging markets.

Pacek’s speech will advise visitors on how to achieve success in a variety of markets, understanding how to harness new developments through important investments at a local level.

Speaking as a leading expert on economic and business forecasts, Pacek will share his experiences with visitors, explaining how best to ready their businesses to compete in emerging economies and how to target investments to secure a positive future. Providing a tour of world economies, he will address issues that affect various regions, highlighting countries that will show particular strengths and weaknesses in the coming years.

Pacek currently advises over 400 major multinational companies, and a large number of his clients are directly or indirectly linked to the electrical and electronics manufacturing industry. Offering advice that is easily applicable to strategic planning and budgeting in the industry, he will explain how and why certain markets will change in the near future, sharing his thoughts on how to make the most of developing international opportunities.

“The electrical and electronics manufacturing industry is showing definite signs of recovery, especially in Europe, the USA and Japan,” commented Pacek. “And, despite recent currency downturns in certain areas, emerging markets are still an important focus area for the industry. Companies should ask themselves if their businesses in emerging markets are sustainable. Competition is extreme and will get worse in the coming years; companies that make investments in these markets now will experience the benefits in the future.”

Pacek will be speaking at the CWIEME Central auditorium on Wednesday 6th May, from 14:20pm to 15:05pm.
