The Shanghai New International Expo Center will play host to the Laser World of Photonics China from 15th-17th March 2016. The show is expected to occupy an area of 40,250m², with around 800 exhibitors from China and other countries across the world.

Asia’s largest trade show for lasers, optics and photonics will showcase an entire spectrum for the five categories - Lasers and Optoelectronics, Optics and Manufacturing Technology for Optics, Laser Systems for Production Engineering, Imaging, Optical Metrology and Quality Assurance.

Exhibitors like AVT, Basler, CASTECH, Coherent, Daheng Group, Dalsa, Focuslight, GSI, Han's Laser, HGLaser, II-VI, IPG, Jenoptik, Laserline, Newport, Penta Chutian, Point Grey, Qioptiq, Raylase, Reis, Renishaw, Rofin, Spectra-Physics, SPI, TRUMPF and Vieworks will participate in the trade show and display their latest products and technologies.

With the international key players Zeiss, Leica, Olympus and Nikon and more than 100 exhibitors in total in the metrology and machine vision sector, inspection and quality assurance with optical systems promises to become one highlight topic of the show.

Laser World of Photonics China 2016 is providing Asia’s largest platform for finding solutions in light. It is dedicated to the development and innovation of all fields in the industry and the communication between researchers and experts from institutions and companies all over the world.

The Photonics Congress China will be held again in conjunction with the trade show. The congress topics range from latest research and development in laser technology, laser processing and its applications, optical technology, advanced laser materials, films and devices, laser safety and laser beam analysis. The combination of scientific, research and industrial applications, both in the conferences and the trade fair supports the exchange between the scientific and industrial sectors and emphasises its practical value.

During its three day show in 2015, Laser World of Photonics China continued its successful growth in all aspects - a total of 715 companies from 20 countries exhibited on a space of 36,960m². In the three days, 40,291 industry professionals visited the trade fair.
