At this year’s Mobile World Congress, Lime Microsystems will demonstrate 2G, 3G and 4G wireless technologies and open source mobile communications systems for current and emerging applications. Lime will showcase numerous customer products and platforms based on its FPRF (Field Programmable‎ Radio Frequency) transceivers for applications including wireless infrastructure, SDR and TV white space.

Lime will run demonstrations of its highly integrated and low power FPRF chip, LMS7002M, in conjunction with a newly developed FPGA design kit, STREAM. The kit contains an Altera Cyclone IV FPGA with an extensive set of features and peripheral options such as USB 2.0 and 3.0, Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI and MyriadRF connector.

Ebrahim Bushehri, CEO, Lime Microsystems, commented: “We will be demonstrating a broad range of software defined wireless solutions from all across our application range. Our key partner platforms will be on hand to show the innovative ways they are making use of our FPRF chipsets”.
