LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA increases its exhibition space
LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA, from 9th to 11th September, in New Delhi at Pragati Maidan is India’s only laser and photonics gathering. Demand for industrial laser and optical systems is increasing, presenting the photonics industry with a great deal of potential. The trade fair proves to be an integral part of the Indian laser industry and an important gateway for the growth and use of lasers and optoelectronics in production for various industry sectors.
This year the trade fair will be co-located with India’s no.1 electronics hardware shows electronica India and productronica India. The co-location will benefit both the exhibitors and visitors. The capital of India houses decision makers and top government officials and is a strategic location for visitors from nearby states like Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Rajasthan, Uttarakhand that is now the hub of Special Economic Zones (SEZ). There is also a strong presence of industry segments like automotive, electrical parts, automotive components manufacturing, engineering goods and more.
LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA was a huge success in 2014, as it saw participation from many of the industry’s key players. Demand for the use of lasers continues to show growth in various sectors like automobile, semiconductors, diamonds, healthcare etc., leading to a phenomenal response in the 4th edition. This year more than 120 companies will exhibit at LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA.
This is a 30% growth compared to the previous edition. In order to accommodate more exhibits, a new hall has been added. The fully sold-out trade fair will mean more exhibitors and more technology showcase at the 2015 edition. This is also beneficial for the visitors as they can witness the latest in lasers and photonics under one roof.
LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA 2015 will host exhibitors from all over the world including country pavilions from China, Germany, Japan, Lithuania and UK. Some of the key exhibitors participating this year are Angel India CAD CAM, Advanced Photonics, Amada Miyachi, Mehta CAD CAM, Carl Zeiss, EO Technics, Gurukrupa Lasers, Hans Laser, Laserline, Laser Science, Mahr Technology, Scantech Laser, Swastik Lasers, Sahajanad Laser Technology, TRUMPF and Toptica to name a few.

LASER World of PHOTONICS INDIA will also witness many accompanying programmes held concurrently, such as the International Conference on Application of Lasers in Manufacturing 2015 (CALM 2015) organised by International Advanced Research Centre for Powder Metallurgy and New Materials, Short courses offered by The Optical Society and a conference on Smart Automation for SMEs with the Automation Industry Association.
