LASER COMPONENTS sets industry standard for virtual events
With LC Week, LASER COMPONENTS has raised the bar for future online events in the photonics industry.
From 6th to 9th of December 2021, LASER COMPONENTS gave its European customers a look behind the scenes with a mix of live talk and video presentations not otherwise available to everyone. Other companies from the photonics community also reported on current projects and the results of their development work.
In total, several hundred viewers followed the virtual event and took the opportunity to interact with the speakers and panel talk guests. In many cases, their questions led to lively discussions in the panel. Industry experts from the European Photonics Industry Consortium (EPIC) acted as expert moderators, guiding the audience through the programme, ensuring that all details were discussed, and creating a relaxed atmosphere for the span of the four-day event.
LASER COMPONENTS successfully combined the various contents and formats into an entertaining concept, leaving no doubt that virtual events can develop the same high level of appeal as face-to-face events. It was also clearly noticeable online where LASER COMPONENTS sees its core competence – in the proximity of and in intensive collaboration with customers.
LASER COMPONENTS will build on this success and has already announced plans to continue the format in further events.
“LC Week has once again shown that you have to apply the same care and effort to virtual events as you would to a mid-sized trade show,” summed up Patrick Paul, CEO of LASER COMPONENTS. “That is exactly what we did, and we are very pleased with the result. The diverse contributions impressively underscored for our customers what LASER COMPONENTS is capable of.”
