IsoVu technology takes centre stage at PCIM
IsoVu technology which offers complete galvanic isolation between a device under test (DUT) and an oscilloscope through the use of electro-optical sensors will be a highlight of the Tektronix stand at PCIM Europe in Nuremberg (May 10-12). The Tektronix stand will feature a number of dedicated power application solution workstations, including power supply design featuring Oscilloscopes, Probes, and Power Analysers for design, debug, and compliance test.
Power semiconductor characterisation is where Tektronix will show High Power Source Measure Units for advanced device development and selection.
There will be hands-on demonstrations and technical advice from our technology and the opportunity to talk to experts to help advise them with their test and measurement challenges.
‘The highlight on our PCIM stand will be the new IsoVu technology. It will be the industry’s first measurement solution capable of accurately resolving high bandwidth differential signals in the presence of large common mode voltage.
The technology will also offer immunity to external interference and radiated emissions, minimising the impact of EMI on measurements’, said Steve Ward, EMEA Marketing Director from Tektronix.
The IsoVu technology being shown at PCIM has the potential to resolve these challenges. It utilises an electro-optic sensor to convert the input signal to optical modulation, which electrically isolates the device under test from the oscilloscope.
