Industrial connectivity solutions displayed at electronica China

Other HUBER+SUHNER technologies on show include the Q-ODC-12/24 fibre optic connectors – the smallest and most robust in their class – and the RADOX automotive battery cables. Industrial control and signal cables, radio frequency and microwave antennas, and optic fibre patch panels will also be shown at the HUBER+SUHNER booth.

The company claims that the Q-ODC-12/24 is the first and only fibre connector in the world to survive 30 days’ submersion in over 3m of water, with a 0% performance loss. It is apparently the highest fibre density available today, based on the proven QN push-pull mating system, connecting up to 12 or 24 fibres in one mating step. Not only have tests proved the connector to be durable and high performing under extreme outdoor conditions, it is also water-proof, dust-proof and corrosion-resistant.

The RADOX automotive screened battery or power cables are low frequency and designed for use in road vehicle applications. With resistance against battery acids, diesel, various oils, engine coolant and window washer fluid, the single core cables are also highly resistant against humidity, petrol and brake fluid.

Alongside these technologies will also be HUBER+SUHNER industrial control and signal cables, which include a resistance to heat, a high current capacity, robust composition, compact design and a long service life.
