Hailo is showcasing its Edge AI technology at CES 2024. Hailo's Hailo-8 AI accelerators and Hailo-15 AI vision processors, designed with an AI-first approach, enhance data centre-class AI processing on Edge devices.

This technology significantly boosts inference performance, accuracy, and efficiency while minimising power consumption.

At CES 2024, Hailo is displaying its technology in action through various partner solutions, including smart cameras by Truen and Gunsens powered by Hailo-15, and diverse security, video management, and automotive solutions driven by Hailo-8 AI accelerators.

“The market for Edge AI is accelerating with the demand for highly accurate real-time video analytics,” stated Orr Danon, CEO of Hailo. “Hailo continues to push the boundaries of AI processing by enabling its customers to embed high-performance deep learning into Edge devices. With the recent introduction of Hailo-15 and the expansion of our Hailo-8 portfolio, we’re ready to show CES the disruptive power of Edge AI.”

The newly launched Hailo-15 is a high-performance vision processor family for integration into intelligent cameras, offering advanced video processing and analytics at the Edge. Hailo-15 enhanced cameras deliver AI-powered video enhancement and analytics, improving security applications' detection accuracy and resolution in various lighting conditions.

The Hailo-8 AI accelerators, already deployed in numerous programs and products, now include the high-performance Hailo-8 Century PCIe card line and the Hailo-8L for entry-level applications.

At CES 2024, Hailo is demonstrating Edge AI's capabilities in key markets, such as video management systems (VMS), advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), autonomous driving (AD), and security.

In VMS, Hailo's technology enables systems to aggregate and analyse video feeds at the network edge, offering cost savings in video analytics and bandwidth. The IronLink All-in-One managed AI NVR, powered by Hailo and integrated with Network Optix Nx Witness VMS, showcases this capability.

In ADAS and AD, Hailo’s AI processors are crucial for safety and comfort applications, providing high power-efficiency for scalable AI computing. Hailo's partners will demonstrate various applications, including multi-camera detection and segmentation, high-accuracy object detection, ADAS domain controllers, and AI-powered electric bikes.

In security, Hailo’s technology ensures high AI performance for accurate security systems. Partners like Truen and Gunsens will present smart cameras and shooting threat-detection solutions powered by Hailo processors.

Moreover, Hailo will exhibit AI-enabled video enhancement, significantly improving image quality from various video sources.

“Hailo and its partners are at the forefront of integrating AI processing into diverse solutions and industries, and now the CES community can experience them first-hand,” said Danon. “Hailo’s Edge AI solutions are field-proven, embraced by customers across the world, and designed to be future-proof because they can be used across applications and devices. Hailo’s advanced processors offer a complete, scalable suite of AI capabilities that stand ready to redefine ‘smart’ across every industry.”
