Extensive accompanying programs at electronica & productronica India 2014

electronica India 2014 and productronica India 2014, 23rd to 25th September in Bangalore, will highlight technology innovations and recent developments in the electronics manufacturing sector. The trade fairs are supported by numerous session and symposia, as well as associations including: Indian Electronics & Semiconductor Association (IESA), Electronic Industries Association of India (ELCINA), Consortium of Electronic Industries of Karnataka (CLIK) and LED products Manufacturers' Association, India (LEDMA).

Taking place on 23rd and 24th September, IESA and MMI India have collaborated for the first time in conducting DEFTRONICS, an international symposium focusing on the Indian ESDM ecosystem, internal security & aerospace. The symposium will feature participation from leading companies such as L&T, BrahMos Aerospace, MOOG, ACCORD, idealForge, Kingsly and ACCUREX. Key speakers include: Peter Gutsmiedli, CEO, Airbus D&S India; Paul Klonowski, Global Director A&D, Analog Devices; Rahul Chaudhry, CEO, Tata Power SED; Chris Rao, MD, UTC Aerospace; Kishore Jayaraman, President, India & South Asia, Rolls Royce; and Ram Prasad, MD, Rockwell Collins India.

The LEDCON session will highlight important issues such as the applications and challenges of LED ecosystems and technologies. Exploring business opportunities in public/private sector and opportunities to develop new applications, there will be a dedicated LED Zone for exhibitors and exclusive buyer and seller meetings for the LED Industry. Attendees can gain insights on the LED Industry and identify the latest technology trends, business opportunities and challenges.

Allowing participants to witness the latest technologies in PCB manufacture and design, IPC INDIA 2014 will feature PCB designing workshops and training. Hosting a soldering competition during the trade fairs, the conference will emphasise factors such as failure analysis for improved reliability, identification and mitigation of counterfeit parts, EMI/EMC Standards, compliance and practical guidelines.

Hosted by Kang Young Bong, the SMT Workshop will highlight SMT in India, the basics of SMT, solutions, programming and data control. The workshop will also include sessions exploring SMT investment, machines introduction - ESE screen printer and PEMTRON SPI, programming procedure and part data explanation.
