eMobility expo 2024 set to advance future mobility

The successful inaugural gathering, which saw 5,794 attendees, sets the stage for this city to once again be the focal point for transformative discussions in the transport sector. The city will host the event for three days, re-establishing itself as the epicentre for advancing the transport sector’s transition to more sustainable means of moving people and goods.

With the theme 'We are the future of eMobility', the expo aims to convene key players from the mobility and energy sectors to sculpt the future of transport – one that’s more autonomous, electrified, efficient, sustainable, smart, connected, and secure.

The mobility and energy sectors are currently undergoing a substantial evolution, driven by the European Union's commitment to attaining a climate-neutral continent by negating carbon emissions from fossil fuels by 2035. An ambitious over 15% of Next Generation funds have been allocated to champion a more sustainable mobility industry, with the vision of propelling Europe to lead the paradigm shift by 2035.

In light of this, Jesús Haro, Event Manager of eMobility Expo World Congress, commented: “Achieving these sustainability goals requires a collective effort, both from the public and private sectors. That is why eMobility Expo is configured as the largest integrated and multi-specialist business platform for the mobility industry in Europe."

The upcoming eMobility Expo is anticipated to bring together more than 6,000 industry leaders in search of technological partnerships and the newest innovations from over 200 exhibiting companies. These sectors cover a spectrum from automotive to energy, including maritime, aviation, rail, buses, urban and micro-mobility, plus all related services and technologies for intelligent, connected cities.

Additionally, the event will once again feature the eMobility World Congress, where over 375 international experts will deliver insights into the implementation of new business models and present the forefront of sustainable and technological trends in mobility. The congress will host sector-specific forums and agendas tailored for various professional profiles, such as CEOs, CIOs, fleet managers, and public administration officials.

The eMobility World Congress has commenced its Call for Speakers, inviting experts to propel the dialogue on electric and connected mobility, zero emissions, new transportation models, energy transition, and citizens' changing travel habits. Submissions are accepted until the 4th of December 2023.

Furthermore, the expo will include several activities to enhance networking and create synergies among professionals, such as the eMobility Innovation Awards 2024, the eMobility Startup Forum, the Leadership Summit, and the eMobility Plaza, highlighting some of the most ground-breaking mobility solutions.
