eMobility Expo 2024: electrification, connectivity, new energy
eMobility Expo World Congress, which will be held in Valencia, Spain, from 13–15 February 2023, opens registration for its second edition.
The event is expected to bring together more than 6,000 executives from mobility companies, fleet managers, IT directors and institutional representatives who will come looking for technological and mobility partners. For three days, more than 200 exhibiting companies will present their latest solutions for the automotive, urban mobility and micro-mobility, maritime, air, rail, bus, logistics, integrated transport systems, and energy sectors.
"The mobility sector will experience in this decade a transformation like never before, driven by two key vectors, new alternative energy sources and technology. For three days, the latest solutions, trends and success stories that will mark the sustainable mobility of the coming years will be presented in Valencia," said Jesús Haro, Director of eMobility Expo World Congress.
For the second consecutive year, the event will host the eMobility World Congress, where more than 375 international experts will share the keys to implementing new business models for sustainable mobility and present the latest technological trends in this field.
In this sense, the congress will address the transformation in which the automotive industry is immersed in terms of the electrification of vehicles, as well as cities, and the importance of investing in battery manufacturing plants. New sources of more sustainable energy, such as green hydrogen, will also be discussed.
In addition, industry experts will explore how urban mobility and micro-mobility have been integrated with urban transport systems over the last few years and how the transformation towards smarter cities through 5G technology and IoT sensors is reinventing the way we move around cities or deliver goods in the last mile.
All these key topics will be addressed in 10 vertical forums focused on different segments of the mobility industry: automotive, rail, maritime or air transport, as well as energy and batteries, urban mobility, micro-mobility, and logistics, to analyse and respond to the objectives of reducing emissions and helping to develop safer, smarter, more sustainable, connected, and autonomous mobility.
The congress will also have three agendas focused on different professional profiles, such as the CEO's and Leadership Summit, the Fleet Management Summit – aimed at fleet managers – and the Governments and Manufacturers Summit, in which leading companies in the mobility sector will meet with representatives of the public administration to promote investments in manufacturing plants for electric vehicles, batteries and new fuels such as hydrogen.
A clear commitment to green hydrogen in the mobility sector
Within the framework of the eMobility Expo World Congress, the first edition of the Hydrogen World Congress will also be held in Valencia on February 14th and 15th. The event, in which more than 180 world experts are participating, will analyse the benefits of green hydrogen and its application in the mobility sector. It is the largest sustainable mobility event in Europe, which will showcase the latest advances in this alternative energy that is attracting increasing interest to steer the mobility industry towards a more sustainable model.
Some of the main investment funds linked to large energy projects will share the latest advances in the use of hydrogen as a fuel, but also aspects related to the economic viability of each of the projects, as well as the regulatory, technical and impact of this energy in the industrial and mobility panorama.
The Hydrogen World Congress takes special relevance at a key moment for Spain, which is emerging as the world's leading power with more than 20,000 million euros of expected investment.
