Celebrating it's 50th anniversary this year, electronica plans once again to bring the global electronics industry together in Munich from November 11 – 14, 2014. Visitors to electronica 2014 will be able to see all the major players from key industry sectors such as semiconductors, power, interconnection, embedded and test and measurement. The key topics of 2014 electronica will include automotive, embedded solutions, security and wireless technology.

Taking place on November 10th, the electronica automotive conference will focus on connectivity, lighting and sensor fusion. This conference takes place before the elctronica fair begins, allowing participants plenty of time to attend the fair the next day and gather additional information about the conference topics in the automotive forum. The innagural embedded platforms conference got off to a successful start last year, with this year's conference optimized with the addition of two parallel lecture series. Visitors can also get an overview of the latest solutions and collect application-oriented information in the embedded Forum. The fair's special focus portfolio will be completed by the Wireless Congress, the electronica Forum, the exhibitor Forum and the PCB & Components Marketplace.

It has also been announced that the specialist show hybridica will no longer be a separate branded event, with hybrid component technology becoming part of electronica.
