‘The Engineers’ Playground’ will be the theme of the RS Components (RS) stand at this year’s electronica exhibition in Munich (November 8-11). As well as presenting all the latest innovative products and technologies from across the electronics industry in areas such as Internet of Things (IoT) applications, a special focus of the RS stand this year is to play host to all the fun and excitement offered by electronics technologies.

Throughout the week, RS will be running a live ‘Robot Clash’ event on the stand, offering visitors the chance to do battle with robots and win prizes. The stand will also have a gaming arena, including game consoles from the 1980s right up to the very latest modern virtual-reality games.

Visitors will also have the chance to walk away with their very own VR headset.

Also on display will be the latest products and technologies now available from RS, as well as a host of game-changing applications in key areas such as the IoT.

In addition, there will be a fully operational electronics workbench area and the DesignSpark tools demo zone, showing the RS free-for-download tools and resources for electronics design engineers, including DesignSpark PCB, DesignSpark Mechanical and DesignSpark Electrical, which is the latest addition to the DesignSpark suite of tools.

The RS stand will also host a series of ‘meet the expert’ sessions in which some of the most exciting product innovators from across the industry will present and answer questions on their exciting new projects.

Throughout the week, experts from the RS technical marketing team will be on hand to assist and to explain the various technologies on display.
