EDS workshop sessions highlight innovative solutions
Emphasising its role in supporting design activity Mouser Electronics will be offering delegates to the Electronic Design Show at Coventry’s Ricoh Arena the chance to discuss any technology or product from over 600 manufacturers. It will also partner with three suppliers, Texas Instruments, Red Pitaya and Coilcraft and sponsor two workshop sessions highlighting specific innovative solutions.
At 14.15 in Workshop 2 on 18 October, Črt Valentinčič , Red Pitaya’s CTO will discuss the Red Pitaya versatile tool that serves as a core building block for developing advanced projects in diverse applications including: 4-D imaging of the Earth's atmosphere; quality testing of steel pipes & bananas; power fingerprinting for cybersecurity; and software-defined radio.
Using Red Pitaya, companies can test or prototype products faster and cost effective or even integrate it into new products.
On October 19, Garry Clarkson, senior FAE at Texas Instruments, Embedded Processing and Connectivity will discuss the benefits and features of BlueTooth 5 with use-case examples that show how BlueTooth 5 can improve existing designs and be an enabling technology for new projects.
Texas Instruments’ Bluetooth 5 IC solutions and development platforms will also be discussed.
At EDS on the Mouser stand, Coilcraft will be showing its latest innovations in low loss power inductors optimised for high switching frequencies of 2-5MHz.
Also on show will be the company’s full suite of RF and power inductor selection tools with greater levels of performance data which help ease the process of selecting the correct inductor for a specific design.
