Computer Simulation Technology has today announced that it will be previewing the latest version of its flagship electromagnetic simulation tool, CST STUDIO SUITE 2014, alongside a full schedule of presentations and live demonstrations at European Microwave Week 2013, Nürnberg Convention Center, Nuremberg, Germany October 8 - 10, 2013 in booth #103.

CST STUDIO SUITE 2014

Engineers and researchers working across the electromagnetic spectrum use CST STUDIO SUITE, a package of simulation tools, for designing, modeling and optimizing EM systems. CST STUDIO SUITE 2014 expands on the capabilities of previous releases by further improving usability, by adding modeling features as well as streamlining workflows with CAD tools. Particular attention has been paid to model set-up, meshing and System Assembly and Modeling workflows, especially for multiphysics and PCB simulation.

CST Booth Presentation Program

CST’s booth presentation program will feature demonstrations of CST STUDIO SUITE 2014. In addition, this program will cover a number of topics in design and simulation practice, with standards compliance being a big theme. The talk “EMC Simulation of Consumer Electronic Devices” will show how the EMC properties of a product can be characterized with simulation, while “Simulation of EMI in Hybrid Cabling” and “Cosite Interference Analysis” discuss aspects of EMI. E3 is covered through “Virtual High Intensity Radiated Field Testing”, while exposure and medical EM are the themes of the talk on “Bio-electromagnetics”.

“Comparing Simulation and Measurement” is of particular interest to test engineers. This presentation explains the effects that lead to discrepancies between virtual and physical prototypes, and offer some techniques for improving agreement between the two.

Availability

CST STUDIO SUITE 2014 is set for release in February 2014.
