COPA-DATA to hold an exclusive event on the future of automation
The industrial automation software specialist, COPA-DATA, is uniting members of its Partner Community with an exclusive event aimed at stimulating ideas for the future of automation. The Northern European Partner Academy 2015 is a two day event held at the luxurious function rooms of Old Trafford Stadium, Manchester, on 9th and 10th June, 2015.
All COPA-DATA partners from the UK and Scandinavia are welcome to attend the event free of charge, but limited seating will mean a definite sell out. The first of the two information-packed days will be comprised of insights into the latest version of COPA-DATA's HMI/SCADA software, zenon 7.20. Particular attention will be paid to its applications in energy management, efficiency in manufacturing and the food and beverage industry.
The initial day will also provide a platform for partners to take part in debates regarding the latest industry trends. There will be a focus on Industry 4.0, the IoT and Big Data, as well as the chance to learn about how COPA-DATA's solutions can help companies take advantage of the fourth industrial revolution.
The second day will be dedicated to two specialist workshops, running parallel. One will focus on the standard for communication and systems for power utility automation, IEC 61850, and the other on Big Data. Participants will have to make the difficult choice between learning about how IEC 61850 is revolutionising electrical grids and how zenon can be used to archive and analyse vast sets of information.
