Conference to explore mixed signal instrumentation
Pico Technology will be giving a technical presentation at HW/Expo 2016, a UK conference for hardware engineers. Entitled 'Flexible Resolution Oscilloscopes Address Mixed Domain Application Challenges', the presentation will explore how a single instrument can now meet the demands of both analogue and digital engineers.
Taking place near Cambridge on the 27th and 28th April 2016, HW/Expo will include an exhibition of hardware development tools and technologies, a stream of presentations from industry experts and a series of half day workshops.
“Analogue and digital engineers have different needs when it comes to waveform measurements and have had to choose different oscilloscopes optimised for their respective tasks,” said Stuart Murlis, Applications Engineer, Pico Technology. “This presentation will discuss how recent developments in Oscilloscope technology are enabling a single instrument for both digital and analogue signal measurement.”
"We are very pleased to have Pico Technology on board for the conference,” said Richard Blackburn, Conference Manager. “Working at the leading edge of instrumentation development, they will bring a lot of knowledge and experience to the event.” Covering topics such as memory technology, touch technology, circuit design, ASIC and FPGA design, test equipment, display technology and reference design platforms, HW/Expo is free to attend for hardware developers and technical managers. The conference is funded through sponsorship from a broad range of industry suppliers such as JTAG Technologies, Intelligent Display Solutions and Blue Chip Technology.
"Our objective is always to create a relaxed forum where engineers and developers can meet to discuss current challenges, future trends and new technologies," said Richard Blackburn. "With the workshops and presentations, there is also the chance for delegates to gain new skills and knowledge from industry experts. We feel sure that hardware developers will find it very worthwhile and productive."
H/WExpo will be co-located with the Device Developers' Conference, an event for engineers that develop solutions based on embedded systems and realtime software.
