CeramTec at Sensor+Test 2024: Exciting Ceramics!
CeramTec will be at the Sensor+Test 2024 trade fair in Nuremberg with its portfolio of solutions and services in the fields of ultrasonic measurement solutions and structural ceramics.
Exciting Ceramics! This is the motto of CeramTec's appearance at this year's Sensor+Test 2024, the world's leading forum for sensor, measuring and testing technology. From 11 to 13 June 2024, CeramTec will be presenting its piezoceramics, ultrasonic solutions, transducers and structural ceramics in Hall 1 (Stand 1-530) at the exhibition center in Nuremberg, Germany. The advanced ceramics manufacturer will be showcasing piezoceramic components for sensors as well as its new next-generation fully assembled ultrasonic flow sensors. CeramTec will be demonstrating the important role that ceramic materials play in reliable sensing and measurement technology.
Ultrasonic solutions: highly precise, stable and durable
A CeramTec highlight at Sensor+Test fair will be the recently presented 2 MHz water coupled piezoceramic flow sensors of the next generation. They are suitable for use in domestic and industrial smart ultrasonic water meters and ensure reliable operation under high pressure and over a wide temperature range.
CeramTec will be showcasing other areas of application for piezoceramics in ultrasonic technology for high-precision sensor and measurement technology using various products and customised solutions. Visitors to the trade fair can immerse themselves in a wide range of applications, such as flow measurement of liquid and gaseous media, leak detection, meteorology, material testing or acceleration measurement.
"Piezoceramics are at the heart of precise flow measurement with ultrasonic technology," says Charlie Dowling, Business Line Director Piezo & Sensors at CeramTec. "At the Sensor+Test 2024 trade fair, we will be showcasing our broad portfolio of services in the customised development and production of piezo ceramics for ultrasonic solutions. And with the new 2 MHz water coupled ultrasonic flow sensors, we are providing proof that we also have comprehensive and application oriented manufacturing expertise."
Technical ceramics: versatile solutions for reliable measurement results
CeramTec will be showing what it can develop and produce from a variety of more than 40 structural ceramics materials. These include silicate ceramic solutions, substrates, ceramic membranes, protective and insulating tubes for industrial measurement applications and customised high-performance ceramics manufactured using the 3D printing technology.
"When it comes to sensors and measurement technology, maximum precision and reliability are required," says Fabio Lodidgiani, Business Line Director Structural Ceramics & 3D at CeramTec. “Our innovative solutions deliver exceptional performance, resilience, and precision, even for the most demanding sensor and measurement applications.
