The eighth edition of Ceramics Expo will take place 2―3 May 2023. To enhance its offering for 2023 and in response to developments in the use of advanced ceramic materials across high-tech manufacturing industries, the event has moved to a new location in MI: Suburban Collection Showplace, Novi.

Exhibition Manager, Raymond Pietersen said: “The move to Novi MI is great news for the industry and even more so for the markets that have traditionally attended Ceramics Expo in Cleveland OH each year. We are confident that a MI location will give these markets access to a wider range of OEMs and manufacturing organisations, whilst giving senior engineering and technical professionals based in Michigan the opportunity to meet a wide range of potential supply chain partners. We firmly believe that the new location increases the opportunity for all our exhibitors and visitors to do business and discover new innovations and technologies in ceramic materials and components.”

The exhibition is set to welcome over 275 global market leading exhibitors across the entire advanced ceramics and glass manufacturing supply chain, including Bosch Advanced Ceramics, Corning Inc, ERG Aerospace, Global-Pak Inc, Imerys, Thermo Fisher Scientific.

Alongside the exhibition runs a free-to-attend conference, addressing the most pressing challenges facing OEM, manufacturing, and engineering stakeholders. Sessions will be delivered by technical experts, delivering first-class thought leadership on topics including material advancements, key applications, and manufacturing developments.

This year sees the strengthening of Ceramics Expo’s co-location, following a successful launch last year, with Thermal Management Expo.

Thermal Management Expo is North America’s only exhibition event dedicated to thermal management solutions, creating an opportunity for MI’s manufacturing community to understand the use cases and benefits offered by the thermal engineering sector. This includes exhibits from Parker, 3M, C-Therm, Shin-Etsu MicroSi and Sekisui Chemical.

Registration is free and Ceramics Expo (and Thermal Management Expo) encourages interested visitors to register in advance, for free via the ceramics expo website.
