Cadence demo ADAS at embedded world 2014

At this year’s embedded world Exhibition & Conference, February 26-28, 2014, in Nuremberg, Germany, Cadence Design Systems will present Advanced Driver-Assistance Systems (ADAS) including augmented reality, a car simulator with attention assistance, a car simulator with adaptive cruise control, traffic sign recognition and automotive Ethernet.

In Hall 4 Booth 116, visitors can learn about early software development, hardware/software integration and co-verification of embedded subsystems. The company will be highlighting the Cadence System Development Suite which enables accelerated system integration, validation, and bring-up for concurrent hardware/software design and verification.

Enabling engineers to quickly build systems for high-performance audio/video processing, visitors can also learn about Cadence IP offerings such as Tensilica dataplane processor units, the latest interface standards, and memory IP. Additionally, Cadence Design Systems plans to showcase its Allegro Sigrity solutions for power-aware signal integrity and power integrity analysis. Visitors can be amongst the first to see features released in Cadence Sigrity 16.63, including new technology-supporting analysis, compliance checking and sign-off for DDR4 interfaces on PCBs and IC packages.

Cadence will also be participating in the conference program at embedded world. On 26th February 09:30-10:00, Frank Schirrmeister, Senior Director of Cadence, will explore "Hardware/Software Co-Development - Challenges and Opportunities for EDA". Frank will also be presenting on "Virtual Platform/Emulation Hybrid: The Best of Both Worlds; High-Performance Software Execution and RTL Accuracy for the Design Increases Performance for System Validation" at 15:30-16:00 on the same day. Additionally, Jürgen Jäger, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Cadence, will deliver a presentation titled "A Practical Introduction To 'Hybrid Prototyping'" on Wednesday, February 26 at 11:30-12:30.
