Altus laud success from Southern Manufacturing & Electronics exhibition

Among the showcased technologies was the Koh Young Zenith Alpha HS+ AOI inspection solution, designed for automated optical inspection, alongside the KSMART software, aimed at gathering, analysing, and optimising PCBA processes to elevate quality and efficiency.

The exhibition also highlighted advanced systems essential for various stages of electronics production, including soldering, dispensing, inspection, board handling, and assembly. Standout equipment at Altus’ booth included the Asscon vapour phase reflow soldering unit for lead-free soldering, the debut of PVA's precision dispensing technology, the Quins inspection system known for its high-resolution imaging capabilities, and the YJ Link automated board handling system.

The Essemtec Fox 2, a multi-function SMT assembly machine suitable for high-mix, low-volume production lines, and Promation’s modular robotic soldering solutions, also attracted significant attention from attendees.
