Advanced Energy’s AI power solutions at 2023 OCP Global Summit
Advanced Energy will be featuring its latest efficient power supplies and power shelf technologies for enterprise and hyperscale data centres at this year’s Open Compute Project (OCP) Global Summit, which takes place at the San Jose McEnery Convention Centre on October 17-19, 2023.
At booth A7, Advanced Energy will showcase innovative Artesyn Open Rack version 3 (ORv3) compliant power shelves, power supplies in the M-CRPS (modular common redundant power supply) form factor, as well as high-density board-mounted power solutions.
The theme of this year’s conference is Scaling Innovation Through Collaboration. “The OCP community is where industry leaders come together to drive open standards and develop platforms for the community and the broader market,” said Brian Korn, Advanced Energy’s Vice President of marketing for data centre solutions. “It is through this collaboration that we are enabling the accelerated adoption of AI workloads through higher power PSUs and power shelves that meet tomorrow’s needs for density and efficiency.”
Among the power technologies at the Advanced Energy booth will be an ORv3-compliant power shelf with hot-swappable PSUs for 21” open rack systems that deliver peak efficiencies above 97.7%, one of the highest peak efficiencies in the industry. The M-CRPS-compatible Artesyn™ CSU3200AT PSU offers 100 W/in3 density in a 3200 W AC-DC power supply to deliver dramatic space and energy cost savings. Board-mounted power technologies will include the Artesyn NDQ900 non-isolated DC-DC converter. Selected as a finalist for Power Product of the Year in this year’s Electronics Industry Awards, this converter reaches a peak efficiency of 96.7%.
In addition to exhibiting at the event, Advanced Energy will also be delivering a presentation on the requirements for next-generation ORv3 power PSU and power shelves. This presentation will take place on Wednesday, October 18 at 1:30PM PST in Room 210AE on the concourse level of the San Jose Convention Centre
