Human-machine interfaces (HMI) used in automation and control technology, as well as for interactive passenger information systems or in Point-of-Sale (PoS) applications plus a diverse range of industrial processes, demand powerful and robust operating elements. As a product that perfectly complements the company’s industrial PCs and embedded boards, ELTEC Elektronik AG has now developed a high resolution, robust and easy-to-operate multi-touch panel. The industrial display solution introduced by ELTEC utilizes intuitive operations technology for interactive applications, including four-finger gestures.
The 21” LC display (IDISP 100) boasts 16:9 aspect ratio and LED backlighting, and achieves resolutions of up to 1920 x 1080 pixels. Hence, it has the capability to support the display of complex content and even full HD video streams. The integrated, protected capacitive touch sensor allows the user to enjoy the benefits of convenient, secure and interactive operation, even when wearing gloves.

The display is ready for connection to analog video sources, such as VGA, as well as digital sources using the DVI standard. The touch sensor comes with one USB 1.1 interface. Software drivers are available for Windows and Linux as well.
The device is powered by a single external 12 V connection. It can optionally be connected to different types of current and can be adapted for conformity with industrial standards with user-specific approvals.

Thanks to its robust design, the multi-touch panel, which meets protection class IP30 requirements, is particularly suitable for the industrial and mobile environment in operating temperatures ranging from 0 to +50 °C. No mandatory cooling is required for this temperature range. Moreover, the display does not have any internal components that require maintenance. The dimensions: 550 mm (W) x 355.5 mm (H) x 52 mm (D). The device weighs about 3 kg.
