The BWA-CAM from LASER COMPONENTS’ partner Haas LTI is a laser beam analyser system with a compact modular design.  

The system employs multiple patented optical design technologies that contain no moving components and offers instantaneous 2D and 3D ISO 11146 and ISO 13694 compliant measurements, analysis and monitoring through more than one Rayleigh range of the laser being measured.  The system contains optomechanical hardware with a sensor that can cover from the UV to far IR, and the BWA-PRO® software.  The BWA-CAM system may be used for laser powers from <1mW to >30kW, and between 190nm and 10.6um when paired with the correct attenuation modules and accessories. 

The BWA-CAM laser beam analyser system can measure and monitor key system metrics including:

  • M2, K and BPP values
  • Divergence, astigmatism, centroid, circularity and Rayleigh length
  • Beam waist size, location and focus shift
  • ISO compliant spatial profile in 2D and 3D
  • Logging and monitoring of all parameters

With ‘real-time’ monitoring of the above values, laser users will benefit from early warning of and issues with the laser and entire beam delivery system, benefiting from increased quality and process reliability.
