Software enables HMI design for embedded auto applications
Targeting in-vehicle infotainment and cluster-based dashboard systems in the automotive industry, CGI Studio 3.0 has been released by Fujitsu Semiconductor Embedded Solutions Austria (FEAT). The upgraded version of the CGI Studio tool suite now enables in-vehicle HMI applications thanks to the support of OpenGL ES 3.0.
CGI Studio enables high-performance 2D/3D applications such as navigation, vehicle status visualisation or task menu structuring, while focusing on essential automotive application features such as boot-up time and a small footprint. Graphical features such as KTX image formats, ETC2 and EAC texture compression, and seamless cube maps amongst others enhance CGI Studio’s existing features, allowing customers to maximise their creativity with even fewer resources. Features such as a shareable component library (SCL), EGL context sharing and improved scene templates add convenience for the user, making what FEAT claims 'one of the most extensive and user-friendly authoring suites on the automotive market.'
CGI Studio complies with automotive standards and regulations.
