Specialty Coating Systems (SCS) announces the launch of the PrecisionCure UVC (ARC), a state-of-the-art mercury ARC UV curing system designed to deliver consistent and efficient UV radiation, providing optimal curing conditions for a wide range of materials.

The PrecisionCure UVC (ARC) is designed for versatility and can be configured for single-sided (top) or double-sided (top and bottom) curing processes. This adaptability meets diverse operational requirements, enhancing production outcomes and providing superior curing performance. The system can function as a standalone unit or integrate seamlessly with an SCS PrecisionCoat selective conformal coating and dispense system as well as an SCS PrecisionAdvance conveyor, offering a comprehensive and flexible solution for advanced manufacturing environments.

Built for continuous operation, the PrecisionCure UVC (ARC) minimises downtime with its low-maintenance design to ensure production lines remain consistently operational, improving overall throughput. The system features programmable curing profiles, adjustable lamp power ranging from 120 to 300 watts per inch and a pin-type-edge handling conveyor for precise and reliable substrate handling.

The PrecisionCure UVC (ARC) is equipped with Windows-based software and a touchscreen display for easy operation, maintenance timers, top and bottom active fan cooling, integrated exhaust, and an exhaust interlocked sensor. The system's flexibility is further enhanced with options such as right-to-left conveyor travel and an auto-width adjust conveyor.
