RiskCAT for ISO/FDIS 26262
The latest version V6.2f of RiskCAT supports the FDIS (Final Draft International Standard) of the automotive standard ISO 26262. RiskCAT helps the user to cope with this standard. For instance, all measures of this standard can be listed, which have at a given ASIL (Automotive Safety Integrity Level) the obligation “highly recommended”. Furthermore, for instance, all measures related to a given keyword or a given work product can be selected.
The RiskCAT features (optional) interfaces to requirement management tools like DOORS. Therefore, a catalogue of measures to be enforced for the development of a safety-related electronic system which was worked out using RiskCAT can form the basis of the requirements for the project.
