INCHRON GmbH, a leading manufacturer and supplier of design and test solutions for real-time critical software in embedded systems, will be staging the international Real-Time Congress for the third year running in Munich. The theme of this year's event is risk management in projects with real-time-critical applications.
Decision makers, project leaders and developers of real-time critical embedded systems meet to share experiences during the technical conference and networking events. Speakers from companies such as Continental Automotive, Audi and Siemens will give tips on managing real-time risks. Keynote speakers from IBM Rational and BMW will highlight the importance of addressing timing and performance issues across design teams, early and methodically. Timing and performance errors are often discovered late in the development process, resulting in high costs and project delays. A methodical approach helps to identify and minimize the real-time risks of a project early.

At this year's Real-Time Congress INCHRON is expecting some 120 visitors, e.g. from the automotive, medical, aerospace and automation industries. Like last year, parallel to the Congress there will be an exhibition by INCHRON partner companies, this year including IBM Rational and ESG.

New to the program is an INCHRON Tool-Suite training course the day before the Congress. During the full-day course participants will be creating task models of interconnected systems in practical exercises, simulate and validate their real-time behavior and automatically create meaningful analysis reports. The course is certified and delivers a compact introduction to the INCHRON real-time analysis tools chronSIM and chronVAL. As an alternative, a short introductory course is offered in the afternoon.
