IAR announces new version with enhanced Cloud debugging and simulation capabilities

Highlights of the new release

Arm Virtual Hardware (AVH) support: this feature introduces AVH to simulate a broad spectrum of Arm-based hardware in the Cloud. It enables early software development even in the absence of physical hardware, integrating smoothly with CI/CD and MLOps workflows, significantly reducing time to market.

Enhanced IAR C-SPY Debugger and Simulator for Linux: provides a sophisticated Debugger and Simulator for Linux, enhancing automated workflows and supporting IAR I-jet hardware debug. These improvements are designed to optimise testing in CI/CD pipelines, thereby enhancing efficiency and reducing time spent

Runtime analysis integration for Linux: integrates IAR C-SPY and IAR C-RUN add-ons into the Linux environment, improving development and testing phases with advanced analysis and testing features, thus improving code quality and reliability.

Cloud-based development and collaboration: supports integration into Cloud-native and collaborative environments, facilitating remote teamwork and making use of cloud infrastructure for simulation and virtualisation, in line with contemporary software development practices.
