New AAEON embedded motherboard supporting AMD Fusion processors: EMB-A50M
AAEON is proud to announce the launch of a new embedded motherboard, the EMB-A50M, featuring onboard AMD Fusion APU processors. The variety of interfaces and features offered for graphics and industrial applications makes this board extremely flexible and attractive. The EMB-A50M is a new product in the Mini-ITX form factor that has an onboard AMD Fusion processor and AMD Hudson chipset.
TherThe EMB-A50M is offered with support for standard, consumer-grade operating systems as well as embedded Microsoft and Linux systems, says Randy Chang, Product Manager of AAEON's Industrial System Division. Moreover, this motherboard offers both Dual Core and Single Core processors to provide flexibility and the best performance per watt for end users. For graphics-intensive applications such as Digital Signage, Gaming and Medical Imaging, the EMB-A50M offers HD resolution up to 1920 x 1200 for HDMI and DVI output through its integrated AMD Radeon 6310/6250 graphics engine.
This embedded motherboard is designed for ATX power support and thus has the standard 24-pin ATX power connector. The dual-core T56N processor version is designed for operation with a CPU fan that comes on the board and needs active airflow, but the single-core T44R processor version is fanless and therefore allows for more versatility in applications that range from a workstation in an air-conditioned office to a monitoring display on a busy factory floor.
