Avnet Embedded and Direct Insight to provide specialist Windows Embedded training

The official Windows Embedded in-depth three-day training courses will run from 8th and 15th September 2009, at Direct Insight's rural Oxfordshire headquarters with informal, hands-on training and opportunities for questions and discussions. An optional 4th day is available allowing delegates to prepare for Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist exams.

Windows Embedded training details:

Windows Embedded CE

The Windows Embedded CE 3-day course guides students through the whole process of embedded platform development using Windows Embedded CE 6.0, and uses real-world ARM-based target hardware to accurately emulate a CE typical project. The course is based on MSDN2542 and includes introductory training on the various aspects of platform development that are needed for a ground-up approach to system design.

Course dates: September 8th, 9th and 10th 2009, Oxfordshire

Additional Day: Preparation for Microsoft Exam 70-577: September 11th

Windows Embedded Standard

The Windows Embedded Standard 3-day course takes you through the process of x86 embedded platform development using Windows Embedded Standard. Each section of the training is reinforced using a hands-on lab. The training and labs are delivered by our in-house Microsoft qualified trainers.

Additional Day: Preparation for Microsoft Exam 70-571: September 18th 2009

Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS) Exam Preparation

For delegates wishing to achieve formal recognition of their skills via the relevant MCTS qualification, additional days (3pm finish) are available and specifically designed to prepare for the associated exams. 70-571 for Windows Embedded CE, and 70-577 for Windows Embedded Standard. Preparation courses include additional labs and are led by qualified and experienced trainers.
