Artisan to boost US sales with new senior management appointment

Artisan Software Tools has announced the appointment of Dennis Andrews as Vice President of Sales -USA. Dennis will assume responsibility for driving the growth of the company’s direct sales efforts in the American market.
“Strengthening our business in theUnited States by growing sales and accelerating broader adoption of our leading mission and safety-critical embedded systems and software development products and services, represents a strategic opportunity for Artisan going forward,” said James B. Gambrell, CEO of Artisan Software Tools.  “Dennis’ wealth of relevant industry experience and domain expertise gives him the ability to quickly understand client needs and map them to potential technology solutions, all of which, we believe, will help fundamentally accelerate our business development ambitions in the US.” 

A graduate of the Illinois State University, Dennis comes to Artisan from rival company Telelogic/I-Logix, now part of IBM, where he worked in various strategic senior sales management positions. 

Prior to joining Telelogic, he managed the North American sales for French software company Verilog where he increased sales ten-fold in 5 years.
