L-com has recently launched new product ranges that include IEC connectors and power entry modules, IEC connector accessories, and IEC power distribution units (PDUs).

These products collectively guarantee a reliable and seamless connection of crucial equipment to AC power sources, catering to devices such as computers, monitors, printers, server and networking hardware, audio and video equipment, industrial machinery, and more.

With L-com's latest offering of IEC connectors, issues related to faulty power connections are addressed effectively. The new range encompasses a comprehensive selection of mains-rated inlets, outlets, and connectors, available in IEC C13, C14, C15, C16, C18, C19, C20, and 320-2-2 configurations. These connectors comply with IEC and EN 60320 standards and are certified by UL, CSA, VDE, among other regulatory bodies.

The IEC connectors are designed with various mounting styles and terminations, including flange fixing, snap-to-panel, and PCB mounting options, in addition to 2.8mm-wide solder tabs, quick-connect fast-on tabs of 4.8mm and 6.3mm widths, screw terminals, and PC spill versions. The series is completed with insulating boots and safety covers for enhanced protection.

L-com's newly introduced mains power entry modules provide versatile solutions for panel design, allowing for the combination of mains inlets and outlets, filtered inlets, switches, fuse-holders, voltage selectors, and indicators in bezels designed for quick, snap-fit assembly. A flange fixing option is also available for those preferring the security of screw fixing.

The latest PDUs feature four, five, or six outlets and are rated at 10 amps and 250 volts, accommodating various applications. Many of the IEC distribution units incorporate shuttered outlets to prevent accidental contact with the internal electrical contacts when not in use. The more substantial models come with EMI filtering to deliver clean power, devoid of electrical noise, crucial in environments where equipment and communication systems are present together.

Encased in durable thermoplastic ABS housings, the PDUs are designed for rugged use, with some models suitable for panel mounting via screws. Several models include integrated fuse-holders and an illuminated switch for enhanced functionality.

Dan Rebeck, Product Line Manager, stated: "We're ensuring the reliable connection of AC power to critical components with our new range of IEC connectors, power entry modules, PDUs, and accessories. With over 100 configurations available, many of which are UL listed, and our commitment to stock availability, we're poised to meet the connectivity needs of our customers."
