Software extends power of boundary scan testing

Software that helps engineers develop better test programs and operate more efficiently has been released by XJTAG. It introduces a new API that brings boundary scan’s power of individual pin control into a developer’s own test code, an editor that allows device models to be created that have configurable options for maximum reuse, and data-rich log files that are now even easier for existing systems to analyse.

Boundary test upgrades to demo at electronica

Key enhancements to XJTAG v3.8 will be demonstrated by XJTAG at electronica in Munich (November 13-16). Visually targeted debugging will now be available with Waveform Viewer. While Waveform Viewer has previously given insight into circuit behaviour in XJAnalyser, it is now available with XJDeveloper, for an improved debugging experience.

Zuken and XJTAG have released a plugin that will enhance Zuken’s CR-8000 with a Design For Test (DFT) capability improving test coverage by allowing additional design checks during schematic entry. The capability is based on XJTAG’s DFT Assistant and will be released as a free plugin for Zuken’s CR-8000 Design Gateway users at embedded world 2018 in Nuremberg, Germany.

Collaboration enhances PCB test coverage

Zuken  and XJTAG have entered into a partnership to enhance Zuken’s CR-8000 with a design for test (DFT) capability that will improve test coverage during schematic entry. The capability is based on XJTAG’s DFT Assistant, and will be available later this year as a free plugin for Zuken’s CR-8000 Design Gateway users.
