Vishay Releases Micro-Chip NTC Thermistors

Vishay announced the release of a series of micro-chip negative temperature coefficient (NTC) thermistors with a very small maximum body sensing diameter of 1.6 mm and fast response times of ≤ 3 s in air and ≤ 0.7 s in oil. The NTCLE305E4xxxSB devices provide precise measurements over a wide temperature range, with accuracy of ± 0.5 °C from + 25 °C to + 85 °C and ± 1.0 °C between - 40 °C and + 125 °C.

Vishay's Infrared Receivers for Synchronization of 3D TV Active Glasses Feature 25 kHz Carrier Frequency

Vishay is broadening its optoelectronics portfolio with the release of two infrared receivers developed specifically for the LCD shutter glasses used with 3D-ready TV sets. The surface-mount TSOP75D25 and TSOP35D25 IR receivers are designed to be assembled into active 3D glasses, where they receive infrared signals from the TV set and ensure the glasses' LCD shutters open and close in proper synchronization to create the 3D effect.

Vishay Extends 900-V to 2700-V Heavy Duty Capacitors for Power Electronics With New Capacitance Values Up to 2235 µF

Vishay is extending its heavy-duty Vishay ESTA HDMKP capacitors for power electronics with new capacitance and packaging options. HDMKP capacitors are available in six standard voltages from 900 V to 2700 V (dc). Previously offering capacitance values from 40 µF to 1100 µF, the series has now been extended to offer capacitance values up to 2235 µF, with a capacitance tolerance of ± 5 %.

Vishay Renews Military Analog Switch and Multiplexer Line, Relaunches Hi-Rel DG409 Dual 4-Channel Multiplexer

Vishay announced that its Vishay Siliconix facility in Santa Clara, Calif., has been re-qualified by DSCC to manufacture analog switches and multiplexers with screening to MIL-PRF-38535. The MIL-PRF-38535 specification is a standard that establishes the performance, quality, and reliability requirements for IC components used in systems being built for hi-rel applications.
