New Vishay Siliconix Analog Switch For 3D Shutter Glasses in miniQFN-16

Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. today announced the release of a new compact triple SPDT (triple 2:1) switch optimized for 3D shutter glasses. The DG9454 guarantees 1.8 V logic compatibility over an operational voltage range from 2.7 V to 13.2 V at V+ and 2.5 V to + 5.5 at VL, and features low power consumption down to < 1 µA to greatly enhance battery life.

Vishay Intertechnology Inc today introduced new 30 V n-channel and 20 V p-channel TrenchFET power MOSFETs in the thermally enhanced Thin PowerPAK SC-70 package with an ultra-low 0.6 mm profile. The new SiA444DJT features the industry's lowest profile for an n-channel MOSFET in the 2 mm by 2 mm footprint area, while the SiA429DJT offers the industry's lowest on-resistance for a p-channel device with a sub-0.8 mm profile.

Vishay - 2 V Supply Option for IR Receivers for Remote Control

To address the need for lower operating voltages in battery-operated consumer products, Vishay today broadened its optoelectronics portfolio with the introduction of a new V low-voltage supply option for 10 of its TSOP IR series receivers. The V series devices operate with a stable sensitivity rating at a very low supply voltage down to 2 V over a temperature range of + 5 °C to + 85 °C.

A video webinar detailing how infrared receivers work in 3DTV active shutter glasses was recently added to the website of Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. (NYSE: VSH). The infrared receiver is used in 3DTV glasses where it receives a synchronization signal from the 3D television set and opens and closes LCD shutters in each lens of the glasses to create the stereoscopic 3DTV effect.
