Z-Foil resistor operates in applications up to 200°C
Capable of operating over a temperature range from -55 to +200°C, the Z201HT ultra-high-precision through-hole Z-Foil resistor has been introduced by Vishay Precision Group. The resistor is suited for a variety of high-temperature applications, including geothermal measuring equipment, turbine engine control, and environmental test chambers in military, industrial, automotive, and down-hole drilling systems.
VFR resistors simulate and calibrate thermistor measurements
Vishay Precision Group release a new video demonstrating Bulk Metal Foil precision resistors used to simulate and calibrate temperature measurements in hypersensitive thermistor-based system circuits which are capable of detecting temperature changes of less than 0.01°C. VPG enhances resistance range of Bulk Metal Z-Foil resistors
Vishay Precision Group have revealed that it has extended the resistance range of its VFCP series of Bulk Metal Z-Foil ultra-high-precision flip chip resistors. Now featuring resistances down to 5 Ω, the VFCP series resistors also provide resistances up to 125 kΩ. Any conceivable ohmic value within this range, to six digits, is available with no additional cost or lead time effect.
Z-Foil resistors for high-end audio applications
Vishay Precision Group has today released a new series of ultra-high-precision through-hole Z-Foil resistors, the AUR series. Offering low noise and low inductance/capacitance, the new conformally coated and low-profile AUR series resistors are designed for high-end audio applications that require distortion-free properties.
