Valtronic used 2016 IPC APEX EXPO to purchase Juki equipment for its Solon, Ohio-based location. Valtronic purchased the TR6DNR-D Matrix Tray Changer along with additional tape feeders. The company will use the tray changer to duplicate its second JUKI SMT Line, enabling Valtronic to run various products and allowing various feeders and overall efficiency to the production line.

Valtronic has opened an office in the Swiss École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) Innovation Park as part of its Innovation Initiative. Valtronic innovates and manufactures miniaturized electronic products as well as complex mechatronic systems for their trusted medical device partners.

Valtronic has purchased two new production systems – a Kurtz HR600 Hybrid Rework System and a Nordson ASYMTEK’s Quantum Q-6800 Dispensing Unit for Encapsulation. Both systems currently are being installed. Valtronic purchased these technologies with the purpose of improving the speed and quality of its lines.

Valtronic has purchased and is in the process of configuring an XD7500VR Jade FP X-ray system from Nordson DAGE on its production floor in Ohio. The machine will be live before the end of the year and will be used for in-process inspection of BGA and wire bonded devices. Additionally, it will be used as an analytical tool to verify, troubleshoot and improve Valtronic’s internal processes.

Valtronic announces that it will participate in an upcoming Manufacturing Day at the Formtek facility on 2nd October, 2015. Formtek has gathered a group of manufacturing companies and invited high school and college students to meet at its facility, for a facility tour and various presentations.
