Chiron Global, the Australian and New Zealand owned innovations company behind Unified Weapons Master (UWM), today announced that the company has appointed a new Chief Executive Officer, Colin Blake. Blake brings to Chiron Global his extensive brand and commercial marketing experience gained from his time representing well-known brands such as General Pants Group, MTV, Viacom and music streaming service Rdio.

Unified Weapons Master (UWM) has released the first footage of its recent Vital Target Combat (VTC1) Underground Test Event held in Wellington, New Zealand in March. The footage includes fights conducted by the six international weapons martial artists who attended from around the globe.

Two armour clad warriors face each other in the field of battle, armed to the teeth. One wields a sword, one a fearsome axe. Faces are hidden behind black, industrial grilles, reminiscent of Darth Vader's gruesome mask. The combatants take a step toward each other and pause. A bell sounds and the fighters launch themselves at one another, twirling in a capoeira-style flurry of strokes, before one lands a sickening blow... and the fight resumes.
