GNSS technology enables V2X system
GNSS technology from u-blox has been selected by Cohda Wireless for use in its Vehicle-to-Vehicle (V2V) and Vehicle-to-Infrastructure (V2I) equipment, collectively called ‘V2X’. MK5, the Dedicated Short-Range Communications (DSRC) based V2X system is a next-gen ADAS, enabling early warning of an imminent collision, oncoming traffic, presence of road workers and unsafe speed based on vehicles in the vicinity.
GNSS timing modules offer accuracy of less than 20ns
Capable of generating a precise reference clock with less than 20ns accuracy, the NEO-M8T and LEA-M8T precision timing modules have been released by u-blox. Enabling quick start-up even inside structures with limited sky-view, the receivers offer high sensitivity (-157dBm signal acquisition with assisted GNSS). The precise reference clock is derived from multi-GNSS including GPS, GLONASS, and BeiDou.
150Mb/s 4G LTE module certified for major networks
u-blox's TOBY-L200 4G LTE module has achieved 'network compatible' status for North Americas largest LTE networks. According to the manufacturer, the 150Mb/s TOBY-L200 is the world’s smallest Category 4 LTE module at 24.8x35.6mm and operates over an automotive temperature range from -40 to +85°C.
