AR app to control IoT enabled industrial lighting
A partnership has been set-up between Tridonic, EON Reality to develop an Augmented Reality control and provisioning interface for Tridonic’s IoT enabled industrial lighting solution, net4more. The AR application was demoed at CeBIT as part of Tridonic’s keynote address, ‘Lighting as the backbone for the Internet of Things’.
The right light for any product, be it art, fashion or food
Tridonic has given its sixth generation SLE LED modules a chip upgrade and at the same time expanded its colour palette. The ART, FOOD and FASHION colours, each optimised to a specific application, have now been joined by the TINGE light colour which makes warm tones appear even more vibrant. All versions benefit from greater efficiency in high-output mode and are now available with a 17 mm light emission surface.
Reliable even under harsh conditions
Warehouses, factories and multi-storey car parks all need robust luminaires that provide high lumen values. Industrial lighting has to be energy-efficient and durable. Tridonic offers the right LED light sources for diffused lighting in the form of its CLE G1 ADV IND and QLE G1 ADV IND modules. A luminous flux of 26,000 lumen per module and three different colour temperatures of 4,000, 5,000 and 6,500 K make it easier to develop and manufacture L...
Tridonic expand into North America for smart lighting solutions
Tridonic, a global provider of smart and efficient lighting solutions, is opening an office in Highland, New York to serve the North American market with smart solutions also for IoT applications.
CPD offering extended with CIBSE certified modules
Tridonic has announced the availability of three CPD modules. This brings the total number of modules available to nine, all of which have been certified by CIBSE. Lighting and the IoT go hand-in hand into a connected future
Lighting specialist Tridonic celebrated its 50th birthday earlier this year at the company’s National Partner Conference, and a key part of the celebrations was to highlight what Tridonic believe will be the most exciting advancement in connected lighting seen in the industry.
LED drivers with combined emergency lighting function
The EM powerLED 45 W LED Drivers in PRO DIM and SELV versions combine normal and emergency lighting modes for LED luminaires in one unit. The compact housings of the installation version save space in the luminaire and the modest space requirements of these combination devices will provide greater freedom for luminaire designers.
LED module CLE Quadrant G2 ADV suits retail applications
Tridonic's next generation of LED modules CLE Quadrant G2 ADVANCED now offer even greater flexibility for luminaire manufacturers for round ceiling and pendant luminaries. High efficiency and a high luminous flux are now not just available optionally but can be combined in a single module.
The backbone of the IoT
The Internet of Things is the next industrial revolution, and Tridonic is convinced that lighting will play a decisive role. With this in mind the company has developed the toolbox, net4more, which will not only connect luminaires with each other, but deliver a value add that goes far beyond lighting.
LEDs for industrial and outdoor applications
The recently released RLE EXC OTD 2x4/ 2x8 HP LED modules from Tridonic are resistant to overvoltage and are geared towards demanding outdoor and industrial applications. They can be combined with standard lenses and support modular luminaire design. Thanks to a variety of beam characteristics many different lighting scenarios can be created.
Voltage-resistant drivers offer high overvoltage protection
LED street lights and outdoor lights can be professionally dimmed with voltage-resistant TALEXXdrivers in the Premium OTD series from Tridonic. These drivers for luminaire installation offer impressive surge/burst resistance of 10kV and are extremely durable with a life of 100,000 hours.
