Photovoltaic-output photocoupler with increased open voltage

Toshiba Electronics has launched a new photovoltaic-output photocoupler ('photovoltaic coupler') housed in a thin SO6L package measuring just 3.84x10x2.1mm, suitable for driving the gates of high voltage power MOSFETs used to develop a galvanically-isolated Solid-State Relay (SSR) function.

650V superjunction power MOSFETs housed in TOLL package

Toshiba Electronics has announced five 650V superjunction power MOSFETs housed in the new compact SMD package in TO-leadless (TOLL) format. Measuring just 9.9x11.68x2.3mm (WxLxH), the TK065U65Z, TK090U65Z, TK110U65Z, TK155U65Z and TK190U65Z devices have a 27% smaller footprint than the conventional D2PAK package.

SiC MOSFET modules boosting efficiency levels

Dual-channel H-bridge motor driver IC with PWM control

This H-bridge motor driver IC, which is based on the company’s latest generation DMOS process, can deliver a PWM-controlled current of 2A (maximum). Toshiba’s photorelays with low trigger current contribute to low power consumption

Toshiba Electronics has introduced two new photorelays, the TLP170AM and TLP170GM, housed in a small 4-pin SO6 package, for security systems, building automation and other industrial equipment. The new products feature a low trigger LED current of 1mA, which reduces input side power loss by increasing the sensitivity of the photodiode array.
