Reliability is the main requirement for the control and data logging PC installed in wind turbine inverters. To fulfil this requirement Italian company Elpower has chosen the Fitlet PC supplied by Tiny Green PC.

The launch of the Fitlet2 has been announced by Tiny Green PC as a micro-sized Fanless PC with quad-core Intel Apollo Lake processing performance. Engineered for 24/7 data collection, monitoring and processing applications, Fitlet2 operates with an extended range of operating temperatures (-40 to 85°C) whilst still drawing as low as from 5W.

Tiny Green PC is releasing a portfolio of fanless compact PCs with Windows 10 IoT Enterprise, enabling a new generation of connected, secure and stable process control and monitoring systems targeted around the Internet of Things revolution. The announcement follows a thorough evaluation of the OS, to enhance the company’s computer portfolio.
