High-density switching subsystem for automated measurements
The new EX1200 series from VTI Instruments is a high- density switching subsystem for automated measurement and control, offering the capacity to switch up to 576 channels of voltage or temperature in a single-rack 1U high mainframe. The new system allows users to ‘mix and match’ a variety of modules to build a comprehensive signal switching and I/O subsystem for data logging, level detection and control applications.
50 MHz function generator hits new price point
The TG5011 from TTi is a combined function/arbitrary/pulse generator with a frequency range covering 1 µHz to 50 MHz. At under £900, the generator achieves a new price point below that of competitors’ products offering only 20 MHz or 25 MHz bandwidth.
XG 1700 - High-performance 1700 W DC power supply
A new higher-power range of the Sorensen XG Series of high-performance DC power supplies has been released by TTi distribution, the exclusive partner for Ametek Programmable Power in the UK.
VTI introduces transient capture and time-stamp module
VTI Instruments Corporation has introduced the EX1200-7416, a transient capture and time-stamp module that extends the capabilities of the EX1200 Series of configurable LXI Class A instruments. The new module supports a broad range of applications that require level comparison, event detection, and time stamping.
High-resolution micro-ohmmeter has increased accuracy
TTi has improved its BS407 micro-ohmmeter by increasing its accuracy at the lowest values of resistance. The BS407 can resolve resistance down to 1 microhm, and has ranges with full scales from 2 milliohms up to 20 kilohms with a basic accuracy of 0.1%. It uses a 4-terminal measurement system via high quality Kelvin clip leads, and has a maximum excitation current of 250 mA. Current reversal can be selected to identify errors from thermal EMF.
TTi - Enhanced precision in 280 W dual power supply
TTi has upgraded its well known EX354D bench power supply to improve its precision. The new model, the EX354RD, has 4-digit meters for both voltage and current along with switchable remote sense terminals. The EX354RD has two independent and isolated outputs of 0-35 V at 0-4 A. Separate meters are provided for voltage and current on each output, providing resolutions of 10 mV and 1 mA, respectively. The outputs can be wired in series or parallel ...
USB power meters extend to 26.5 GHz
TTi has extended its range of USB RF and microwave power meters with the release of the TTi-Satori ST265. The new instrument pushes the frequency limit for high dynamic range USB power meters up to 26.5 GHz. The ST265 now covers a frequency range of 10 MHz to 26.5 GHz.
1.2 kW DC power supply offers LXI alternative to GPIB
The new QPX1200L from TTi is a revised version of the company’s PowerFlex regulated 1200 watt power supply unit with extra features including an extended remote control interface option. The new unit incorporates an LXI compliant Ethernet interface that can provide a low-cost alternative to GPIB in many system applications.
TDI Dynaload's high-speed loads from TTi
In response to changing industry demands, the Dynaload division of TDI Power has developed a new line of electronic loads. The Dynaload XBL Series features 800, 2000, 4000, and 6000 W models with a wide range of voltage inputs and sophisticated computer programming via GPIB, Ethernet, or RS232. These units also feature an integrated web page for local system operation and control.
The TF930 3 GHz universal frequency counter incorporates a USB interface for remote control and readback
The new counter has a frequency range from 0.001 Hz to over 3000 MHz with high sensitivity across the range. The high-quality TCXO timebase is stable to within ±1 part in 106 over the full temperature range, and provides a low aging rate. Its short warm-up time allows accurate measurements to be made even under portable battery-powered conditions.
Compact linear power supplies interface to wide range of applications
The TTi PL-P(G) Series of ultra-compact linear regulated power supplies incorporate five types of remote-control interface making them suitable for an unusually wide range of applications. The interfaces include GPIB, USB, RS232, Ethernet (LXI) and analogue. USB and RS232 are most likely to be used for small systems or single PC control, while GPIB and LXI are more appropriate for larger system use.
Laboratory power supply generates 175 W with silent cooling
The new EX355R from TTi is a compact laboratory bench-top power supply generating voltages from 0 to 35 V at currents from 0 to 5 A. Unlike other power supplies of similar power levels, it uses entirely convection-based cooling and is consequently silent in operation.
Auto-ranging power supply from TTi adds LAN interface
The QPX1200 auto-ranging DC power supply from TTi is now available with a LAN interface in addition to USB and RS-232. The QPX1200 is a 1.2 kW unit featuring PowerFlex regulation. This enables it to offer voltage and current combinations between 60 V/20 A and 20 V/50 A, making it suitable for a very wide range of applications.
High-reliability power supply claims highest rack density
