THIELMANN WEW has expanded its military base support capabilities with a new approach to Generic Base Architecture (GBA) requirements. GBA is a Defence Standard that specifies mandatory standards for data, power, water, waste and fuel infrastructure in an operational military base or headquarters, including mechanical interfaces for all equipment.

  THIELMANN has announced that after a period of transition, THIELMANN WEW will be rebranded as the defence business line of THIELMANN in September 2019. The business line will continue to be represented by a specialist defence team at its existing facilities in Weitefeld, Germany, where it has been based for more than two decades.

On 17th-21st February 2019, THIELMANN WEW will once again be attending IDEX 2019 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, to present its military fuel and water capabilities. THIELMANN WEW is keen to meet with customers, military decision makers and industry partners to discuss how its fuel and water capabilities can give military users the tactical advantage, no matter where they deploy.
