TI Announces Smart Bypass Diode With Industry's Lowest Power Dissipation

Texas Instruments introduce a smart bypass diode in a standard surface-mount package with 15-A current handling capability and the industry’s lowest power dissipation. TI Spins Motors In Minutes With Sensorless BLDC Motor Drivers

Texas Instruments announce two 3-phase, brushless DC motor drivers that allow designers to spin motors in minutes rather than months. Traditional BLDC motor designs require five to 10 components, along with firmware. The sensorless 5-V, 680-mA DRV10866 and the 12-V, 1.5-A DRV11873 cuts this component count to one with no firmware required, significantly reducing board space and system costs, while helping customers speed their time to market.

Texas Instruments has today announced the introduction of the industry’s smallest monolithic point-of-load DC-DC converters for harsh environments, including radiation tolerant, geological, heavy industrial, and oil and gas applications. TI’s new LED drivers simplify retrofit light bulb design

Texas Instruments Incorporated today introduced the industry’s smallest off-line, phase-dimmable, constant-current lighting controller and an easy-to-use lighting driver that simplify the retrofit of a variety of LED bulbs, including E14, GU10, A19, PAR20/30/38, MR16 and AR111. The TPS92075 controller and TPS92560 driver reduce component count and solution size while improving compatibility with legacy lighting controls.
