Nanocrystalline current sense transformers suit metering
Designed to be used in metering applications, three nanocrystalline current sense transformers have been introduced by Tech Power Electronics. The SCTN20, SCTN30 and SCTN70 offer many advantages compared with traditional current sense transformers, including: a better measurement accuracy due to the higher core permeability; reduced size and weight; and a larger operating temperature range from -40 to +125°C.
