A 700W AC/DC full-brick power module, which provides users with a convenient AC/DC board mounted solution, has been released by TDK-Lambda. Expanding the company’s PFE-SA series of modules, the PFE700SA is 3% more efficient than the PFE700S, launched five years ago. The device is suitable for use in industrial, MIL-COTS, broadcast, datacomms, telecomms, test and measurement and LED display and signage applications.
Online tool searches for IGBT snubber capacitors
TDK Corporation presents the EPCOS Snubber Cap Finder, an online tool that simplifies and speeds up the search for suitable snubber capacitors to protect IGBT modules against voltage peaks. Upon entering the manufacturer's IGBT code number in the search mask, the integrated database, covering over 1000 IGBT modules from major suppliers, locates the appropriate capacitors.

TDK-Lambda targets low-power sub-250W power supply market
Targeting the low-power sub-250W market, TDK-Lambda has released the first 100W model in it’s ZM range of single-output power supplies. The ZMS100 single output power supply is the first of the company's low-power products to be released. The device, which measures 2x4”, is offered with full IEC60950 and IEC60601-1 3rd Edition medical approval, including 2xMOPP, and meets the requirements of the ErP Directive.
