24-bit Hi-Fi Audio-Quality DAC from STM for Mobile Music Applications

STMicroelectronics has announced a very high-performance 24-bit audio DAC (digital-to-analog converter) that offers 103dB dynamic range across the entire audio path. Aimed at the mobile music market, the new STw5200 is available in small TFBGA and VFQFPN packages, and soon, in a tiny 2.6 x 2.6mm WLCSP. Simplifying the system design, the DAC can also be directly connected to the battery.

High-Quality PWM Digital Power Amplifier from STMicroelectronics Adds 100W per Channel Capability to Full Flexible Amplification (FFX) Family

STMicroelectronics today announced a new digital power amplifier, the STA510F, within its digital power stage family of high-quality single-chip audio solutions, which is capable of driving up to 100 watts per channel of audio into stereo 8-ohm loads.
